Privacy, in plain language.
The current website is designed to collect only what its features require.
Browsing and search
You do not need a visitor account to browse. Search terms are sent to this website to return results. Server infrastructure may record technical request information needed to operate and secure the service. Avoid including personal information in a search.
Website analytics
Our public website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources and how visitors use the directory. Google may receive page addresses, search terms, interactions and technical browser or device information. Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_<ID>, help distinguish browsers and sessions. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization in our tag configuration. Analytics is not loaded in the editor area, private draft previews or local demonstration mode.
Your analytics choices
You can block analytics requests using your browser's privacy tools or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking analytics does not prevent browsing or searching this directory. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy terms at policies.google.com/privacy. Do not include personal information in search terms or page addresses.
Editor access
The editor area uses authentication cookies to maintain a signed-in session. Private research, account credentials and draft records are protected and are not included in public catalog responses.
External links
When you follow a link to Amazon or another source, that service receives your request and its own privacy terms apply. We do not receive an individual shopper’s Amazon account or order history through a catalog link.
